VACU Cards 4+

I have to agree with the others who have stated this was not needed. Wouldn’t it have been more efficient and easier for the users if they had revised the old app to reflect the features in this app. I had no idea there was a new app to manage the credit cards. When I went online to make sure that the balance had been paid, I was redirected to the new app. So then I had to take the time to register the card that had already been registered on the VACU app. If they simply had to do this (although we all wonder why), it would have been better to already have the information linked. I’ve always thought the VACU website and app could have been a lot better but adding another app wasn’t a way to do it.

I lost my card and went into my app to turn it off as I’d been doing easily for years. Most of the time, my card is simply misplaced. I went to the app to turn off the card and I was prompted to download this app. When I downloaded it, I went through the headache of setting up an entirely new username/password. Why do I need two different usernames/passwords for my checking account and the card that’s directly linked to it? I go through the trouble of setting up the app and it required my whole card number to manage the card. How is this helpful if the card is lost? I’ve lost 20 minutes doing something that I used to be able to do it 20 seconds.

I hate this app. Every time I go to log in I have to call, delete, or change my password. The app never seems to recognize my log information and refuses to allow me to enroll again. When I try to access and add a new card online, I can’t! It was completely unnecessary from a customers perspective and such a hassle. This is a horrible customer experience. Virginia credit union, please close this and add it back to the one app. You are not a Fin-Tech company, and this takes away from the small bank experience. I wish I could give this app 0 stars!
