Description
The Veterans Affairs Wayfinding App is a FREE app that helps Veterans quickly locate clinics and amenities in the VA hospital and provides real-time, turn-by-turn directions. It is simple to download and use. Once downloaded, select the default VA hospital, look up a destination and the app will display the map with directions and navigate to the destination.
· Remember where you’ve parked on the VA campus
· Get directions from home to your appointment
· Get directions in real-time to destinations and amenities in the VA hospital
· Submit beneficiary travel claims from the app
· Read VA Announcements in the app
The app is available in both English and Spanish.
Additional features, such as Appointment Check-in, E-Screening, and Online Scheduling are also available in the App for some VA facilities.
*Please note that if your VA facility is not listed, you will not be able to use some app functionalities until the app is more broadly available. Please check back periodically as we expand our services to include more facilities.

Keeps recalculating
I like the app it does help when you look at the overall map of the facility but when you start moving in the direction of your location it will start recalculating and it take less than a minute to catch-up. At time times you can navigate yourself just by looking at the overall layout.
Add CBOC and outpatient clinics such as a Savannah outpatient clinic
Please return the app to his original form where it had community based out which clinics as well as patient clinics. it makes it easier for VETERANS to check in without having stand in line at the chaos and also makes it easier for us to find our way. Removing community clinics and outpatient clinics has made the worse and make sure not want to use it.
In fact, the 4.0 version was much better. It allowed community-based clinics and outpatient clinics were listed. You could do pass you schedule appointments. Please return it back to the future. Thank you.
Slow process
I’m not getting my claim s paid in a timely manner. This is not a great way for us as veterans to go on line and put in our claims and still have to wait a month to get them paid. I also noticed that there is no way to removed the paid claims to a file so we can know what has been paid. I am very disappointed in this system , we could have continued to file a paper claim and get it this slow way. I thought that doing it on line was supposed to make it easier and quick.
Maybe if these things change I can give you a better review.
