Description

The Providence UPmersiv™ Orthopedics app is your on-demand guide to building strength and range of motion after a total knee replacement.

Developed in collaboration with physical therapists, this app supplements the Providence Joint Replacement Handbook and provides step-by-step instructions for daily activities and exercises. Verbal and written instructions accompany interactive 360° videos that allow you to see activities from all angles (front, back, left, right, top), so nothing is hidden or out of view!

Learn how to:
• Walk with a walker, forward and backward
• Walk up and down steps
• Get in and out of a chair
• Get in and out of bed
• Get dressed

Strength and range of motion (ROM) exercises, in both lying and sitting positions, are also demonstrated.

These exercises include:
• Ankle pumps
• Quadricep muscle isometrics
• Leg raises
• Knee extensions

In this app, you’ll have everything you need to understand functional strategies and help guide your performance of exercises so you can ultimately regain your independence and energy.

The app is accessible both in English and Spanish, configurable on the home page.
