United Community Bank
Everything is all in one place which makes banking faster. During my twenty three years in the U.S. Navy I lived in many different cities and had to switch banks many times. The United Community Bank has by far been the best. I have needed a personal loan five times since I became a member of UCB. And one mortgage loan. The ease of which I was approved for everything amazed me. And so does the way everyone has been so friendly and helpful. Especially Donna Baxter. Hers was the first face I saw the day I came there when I was looking for a bank. She greeted me smiled and asked how she could help me. She has helped me with all my banking since that day. The second day I came in she still remembered my name. Donna, all the cashiers, and everyone else I have come in contact with has made banking enjoyable for myself and my wife. I never thought that that was possible. All the other banks I have been associated with were like working with androids instead of humans.
App?
I’m still old school and I’m not sure that what I have is the App but I do like what I have on my phone (I think what I have is online banking??) ….. the access to look at my accounts at any time….. it’s a great feature to have for finding a check I may have forgotten to write down and to check my balances and direct deposits and bank drafts and to transfer from one account to another……..
NO App will every replace true in person personal banking…….. I do hope United Community will remain a small community bank …… to have removed the word Bank from the name is strange…… since United Community is the name now does that mean it’s not going to be a bank? If what I have is the App it’s good….. but nothing will replace true people in a Banking setting…….
Reliable Tool & UI
While my previous experience with United Community Bank online was not stellar, I would say that I’ve have the exact opposite experience working with the app.
I primarily use it to manage my father‘s financial affairs. It allows me to keep him informed while keeping on top of his activities and payment obligations.
The Zelle application has been great to work with inside the United community platform. However, I will say that I got caught during the transition and lost $75 because Zelle said they sent it and United community said they didn’t receive it. I suppose if I had waited one day before attempting to pay one of my father‘s caregivers, everything would have went through without a hitch like it does today.
