If your update software is not compatible with the latest macbook pros, you need to say that. Don't let people buy a 300 dollar headset only to learn that they can't update the firmware even though the instructions clearly say to update the firmware before use. i tried to update the firmware for over an hour only to get the same error prompt saying the dock is in recovery mode and that I had to use a pin to reset the dock. I did this, it started downloading again, but I kept receiving the recovery mode error message. TB's customer support kept sending me the same scripted answer, despite me telling them what was happening. What a waste of time and money. Shame on you, TB.

Can't use the app and all the functionality you pay for without updating the firmware. Can't update the firmware on the app, have to plug into a desktop. Only has USB-A, Macbooks are now only USB-C. Even with a dongle adapting to the current hardware the program wouldn't run. Tried using v1 and that also doesn't work. Checked the fora both on Turtlebeach and Reddit, no workarounds, program has been broken for at least most of a year. Had to return the device.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about, but the app seems pretty okay. Sure you have to connect it via usb to update on mac, just get a dongle and dont be butthurt. I do wish I could update without usb but thats not a dealbreaker. I also wish I could control it via bluetooth from my mac with all the controls when its connected to my ps5. Little things, great product
