Satisfying!

This was very satisfying to use, I got rid of a bunch of junk. My feedback for improvement would be to speed up the interface that allows you to keep or unsubscribe. I had a lot a junk and after a while it became exhausting to tap “unsubscribe” on an email with only 2 messages in it, wait for the script at the bottom to say “deleting”, wait for the email to go away, and for the page to refresh and move the next email up in its place. I would love to drag my finger across all of these and just highlight them at once, or select all. I don’t need fancy scripts that constantly shift the page around. Anyway, it helped clean my inbox, so I have to recommend it for sure.

Does not work as advertised

This app does not do what is advertised.
I have had a yahoo account for years and it is cluttered with spam so as soon as I saw this app, I was really excited to try it out. I logged into my yahoo account and about 20 or 30 spam. Emails came up for my subscriptions. I clicked on subscribe on every single one of them and half would not allow me to unsubscribe, I also signed up for the premium unlimited membership and continue to get a notice saying that I’ve ran out of credits and I need to re-purchase in order to continue. I also added my Google Gmail account and this one pulled up about 100 subscriptions that I was able to successfully cancel according to the app, however the following day I am still receiving all of the emails from the accounts that I unsubscribed from in both yahoo and Gmail. So even though it says it’s unsubscribing and deleting emails it’s not. I’ve tested this out by unsubscribing and waiting for them to delete and going back and checking in my email and they are still there. I feel like this is a huge scam. I reached out to the company and got a very vague response with no help, I’m not happy.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Some senders do use multiple email IDs, which can lead to continued emails despite unsubscribing. We appreciate your feedback and take it seriously. Please reach out to our support team for assistance with your account and any other inquiries. Your satisfaction is important to us.

Worth the subscription.

As a business owner, (Former CPO and founder at Rocktomic Labs and current CEO and founder at WOMCOM) I’ll give you some advice as a marketing expert that has likely pushed an ad or two that caused you to get and email, and /or subscribe to a list. It’s part of life nowadays, but it shouldn’t be so hard to exit when you decide a service isn’t for you. Just pay the fee and clean your email out, it’s worth it. Trimbox makes money here yes, but at the core, it’s doing the exact opposite of all the companies and businesses responsible for your insanely full inbox and that means something. Period.

This is amazing !!

This is amazing I’ve been sick in the hospital a lot so my emails unread were like 165,000 emails. I’ve tried to delete them but never been able to get on top this is saving my account!! Only thing that gets me it’s a little confusing at the being to understand the KEEP button (understand the unsubscribe one because i do want them gone forever) but like do I need to click the continue forever button will that delete my emails as they come in before I’ve read them ? Haven’t found an answer yet? Other than that I am deleting messages by the 1000’s in 10mins it’s amazing!! ❤️

Thank you for the stars and sharing your experience with us.
KEEP means you dont want to unsubscribe but want them [those emails] gone from your inbox. Hope this helps.

User friendly!

I’ve tried quite a few email cleaner apps and I’ve got to say this is by far my favorite!! Easy to use and the set up isn’t confusing with a million buttons when you open it. It’s straight to the point you either want to unsubscribe from that subscription or you don’t and you go down the list of tons that you have overwhelming you daily. This is what i needed. So far this is the one that I found was quickest and easiest to use and helped me get my inbox less cluttered. Perfect!

Optimization of Efficiency

Great app that helped me gain control of my inbox. I was able to declutter thousands of unread junk mail quickly. Saved me hours of time manually deleting unwanted emails. Automatically unsubscribes you from junk mailing lists. Only issue is that keeps asking you to pay for the unlimited features. But it gives you an option to leave a review for more access for continued support on the application. Overall a good find.

Easiest way to clean an inbox!

I struggle with unsubscribing from things that I order and am kind of interested in, but never read all of the emails that they send. The way that Trimbox works is easy, straightforward, and so fast! It is a great tool for my ADHD brain and it is going to help me be much less distracted while going through my day. I have been working on reducing physical and digital clutter and this is a game changer for the latter!

Good!

I liked this app as it helps clean out your inbox… the only down side… and I literally mean ONLY is that when I accidentally unsubscribed to an email that I do want, (from Ulta) and it went and changed my log in and password for Ulta so I couldn’t get emails from them anymore. I had to create a whole new Ulta account. So make sure you check before you unsubscribe.

Fraud!!!

This app I installed and cancelled immediately being it did not work. I went back to the Unroll Me app, for free, and it works so well. I have been trying to get my money back being I cancelled immediately and uninstalled it from my phone. They refused to refund the $42. I never agreed to an entire year as most apps give a free week to try it out. This is fraud and will reporting to BBB and contacting an attorney. It’s not about the money at this point. I have been denied twice in getting my money back. It is no longer installed, did not work at all in removing unwanted emails as the Unroll me app work. Do not install!!!! I will not give up on getting my money back.

Developer Response ,

Extremely Deceiving…

Only giving it 2 stars because it did help declutter emails.

There is no way to select multiple messages and remove all. You have to do each one at a time which takes hours.

The deceiving part is you have to pay a $40 /yr (or) $20 /mo subscription for each email address you have. This is just stupid because most people have multiple email addresses. I would never have signed up if it stated this in the beginning and now I’m going to have to fight this company for a refund.

Developer Response ,

We appreciate your feedback and understand the confusion regarding our subscription model. You can actually clean all your mailboxes with one subscription, so there's no need for individual subscriptions. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out!
