From Bad To Worse

This game used to belong to Peek Games. There were issues with getting stuck on about every 3rd level or so, but you got 1,000 coins for first place at weekend tournaments, 1,000 coins when you opened the team chest every Monday along with several boosters, and coins/boosts for every level won ending in a 9. Then the chuckleheads who own that Farm Saga game bought it for over a billion dollars. Gone were the prizes and in their place were all of these you-play-you-pay packages. Business 101 teaches you that it's very bad business to take things from customers that they are accustomed to having. So now we are stuck on every single level. This is to incentivize you to buy their little packages. Nope. For a very brief time , we were able to watch an ad for 3 extra moves. For 5 moves we had to watch 3 ads. 2 weeks that lasted. Gone. You learn in Business 101 that it's a very bad idea to take from customers what they are accustomed to having. All these people do is take. This game gets progressively worse. Check out their Reddit page, everyone knows, they all complain about it. There's nothing random about how their tiles and arrows flip. Nothing random about winning a bomb or arrow every night. As time goes on, there's nothing fair or fun about this game.

Looks are deceiving

It looks like a kids game. It’s not. If you are on a team it is nice if your team is nice.
The good is no ads (thank goodness for that so many games have ads every minute or two- too many ads get deleted). Team can gift lives for you to play.
The bad the chat feature is really bad (sorry) and if you are on a team and you win first place theoretically 25k in coins are awarded to the team. Each team can have 50 members. But only members who play the competition (which is regular play but during the competition time) get a cut of the theoretical $25k. Because the max you get is 500 coins. If 20 team members (we average 11-17 per week and it is the same people) play each team member only gets 500 coins which is really annoying. Every 2 weeks the developers come up with new chapters which is fine. Once you are caught up with developers they put you in this area called the champions league. The prizes are higher and it is the same scenes week after week in the champions league. The scenes are impossible to finish if you don’t have the mirror ball which gives you extra powers. So you basically sit out for 2 weeks.
Other than that it is a pretty decent game that keeps you busy.

Love the challenge

As a person that was very frustrated with Candy Crush, I stumbled across this game and became hooked. I love the variety of ways to obtain extra lives because a lot of us do not have extra cash (I am level 10,000+ and haven’t purchased anything). I love the variety of the puzzles, which they indicate how hard prior to you starting the puzzle. Some I finish in minutes and a few have taken a few days of casual play. Honestly, I would get bored if all puzzles only took a few minutes. There is a great feeling of success when you solve a tough puzzle. Unlike Candy Crush there are a lot of ways to get free stuff. Daily prizes, group prizes, and many “side games”.

The only thing I wish, but hasn’t affected my game play, is getting timed extra that has to be used immediately and can’t be saved up. Again, does change my 5 stars as it is my top game to destress.

Some of the teams are super intense about winning, it took me while to find the right mix. Enough people who play regularly, but not the constant threat about being cut from the team if not contributing enough. Maybe that is your thing, just not mine. For me it is a game to give me a 15-20 minute break.
