It’s free, which is nice.

It sort of works. I take the back of the watch off and lay the microphone right against the ticking wheel. And wait and maybe reposition the mic. And wait. And hopefully something useful happens. And wait. And wait. Eventually I get AN IDEA of where things are. You need patience to use this thing and some skill to remove the caseback. If you have neither of these things, this app isn’t for you.

Phenomenal

Glass table, put the crown near the phone’s microphone and this app is incredible - it picked up the 21,600 VBH and accurately read my watch at +39 seconds per day. When I received this watch it was a few seconds slow, I regulated it myself - knowing I wanted to run fast - figured once I have a time graphed I can dial it in. My regulation has going a bit too fast I calculated about 39 seconds per day and this app verified that. Now I can use this to get it closer +5. Fantastic app.

It works??? Accuracy??

I’ve tried it on several of my mechanical watches and it consistently gives me readings +/- 30 sec/day. It will jump all over from +/- 0.2 to 30 sec/day, sometimes up to 3 min/day, so it’s difficult to get an accurate measurement but it does give you a reading. It’s cool to watch and worth the $5 if your into watches but, I think comparing the stop watch on your cell phone to the second hand on your watch will give you more reliable data.
