Watch AR theatre narrated by Sir Ian McKellen at home through your iPhone or iPad.
Through the Cracks is an Augmented Reality (AR) theatre app co-produced by Office of Everyone and English Touring Theatre. The project shares undervalued stories that have fallen through the cracks, both figuratively and literally.
'In time' by Sonali Bhattacharyya is the first story featured. The piece comprises two four minute scenes that can be experienced together or with a break. You should physically move your device and your body around the cracks in the floor as if they are part of your physical surroundings.

This experience is absolutely wonderful. The acting is on point, it’s a joy to watch such an intimate story unfold in your own private spaces. Most of all, I love this love story. Highly, highly recommend.
Exciting Immersive Theatre from Home
Long gone are the days where theatre needs to be exorbitantly expensive, stuffy people sitting in a stuffy proscenium. Very exciting to see such high quality work from my living room!
