Ratings and Reviews
An excellent start
This is a good app for music lovers who are traveling and wind up in a new town with a few hours to go record shopping. With the dearth of good record shops out there anymore, something like this is vital!
A few suggestions for the next version: A few search filters would turn this good app into a great one--for instance, if you could set a radius for shops within 5, 10, 15, 20 miles, instead of the current overwhelming blurt of listings that appear. Also, currently any kind of music-seller shows up--which means that in my town, for example, a CD store and the home address of a guy who sells vinyl over the internet, show up in listings. Being able to apply a CD shop-only or vinyl-only filter would be nice (I presume the internet guy is a database issue). Finally, a basic characterization of a store's inventory would be nice, even if it's just a checklist of genres available--what electronica fanatic wants to drive for miles to discover he's traveled to a classic rock specialist, or vis-versa?
Still, it's a great start, I can't believe it's free, and having the Vinyl District blog in there is very cool (the ability to save your favorite Vinyl District city in settings would be a nice touch for a future edition). Looking forward to updates!
Great app, why the fuss...
...about social media? Go to Facebook and post stupid pictures of your kids and food if you are that addicted. One reviewer said there wasn’t any editorial content... er, wrong, Buffalo Breath! I know Jon personally and this app has found a bit of good music (I have eclectic tastes in tunage) and all in all it’s a good app.

Great Travel Buddy!
I like this app a lot! I always use this when I travel to see what record stores are in whatever city I happen to be in. When talking with other music nerds I always mention this as indispensable.
