Description
The Surfr. App is a performance tracking app for Kite boarders. With the app kite boarders can record, view and share their performance:
- Jumps (height, airtime, distance)
- Speed
In addition to these 'game' features the app also contains a safety features in order to keep kite boarders as safe as possible such as the possibility to trace back the board when GPS location is shared.
Also the app is able to track the path the user has surfed over water. This path/track can optionally be stored as well.
The Surfr. App is meant to be used with a board mount in order to mount a phone to a kite board.

Got stuck, but the app worked a few days later
Update: Originally I got stuck on “Step 1”, but the app fixed itself a few days later and I was also reached out by app developer for more info.

Fun kiteboarding with your friends
If you are into kiteboarding and started jumping already this app is a must have. I use it to challenge my friends and myself to become a better kiteboarder. The app interface is intuitive and easy to use and the Wetsuit mode makes it super accessible for everyone to start measuring how high they jump.
Great to track sessions
Have been using this for over 2 years. Helps track what gear you use, various analytics, and of course jump height.
Has its bugs and might just miss your best jump, but still a great product overall
