Localization Challenges
I only want to use the portion of the app that tracks the performance of my stocks. I’m not interested in the advisory or social networking portions of the app, however, the app is now blocked behind the required Consent to use Advisory Services which, while annoying, I can’t tell what that specifically means. If I click into the terms I am met with Korean titles and another click into each policy reveals more documents written only in Korean. I can’t speak or read Korean. The addition of these new policies means I can’t use the app anymore unless I agree to terms I can’t read for a feature I don’t use. Without the ability to understand what I’m signing away an app I used regularly is now inaccessible to me. This isn’t the only localization gap, but this is the first time it’s been a blocker to the bits I want to use.
Two further annoyance is most of my mutual funds aren’t available in the app (which I’ve reported into the void) and that there appears no way to sell stock once they’ve been added, would really like the ability to report purchase lots. It’s a good start of an app, but it’s erred on the side of new feature adds vs quality control or complete features.
That being said, I really did like what this app provided and see potential for this work in progress. Please featureFlag the advisory features behind an initially optional consent checkmark and let me continue to use the app as I had been doing.
Developer Response ,
Hello, this is Team TheRich.
First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience.
In the case of the investment follow-up function that you gave me feedback, we provide it to Korean users, but we will forward it to the development team so that users from other countries do not appear and correct it quickly.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
It’s free not in app purchases!! Thanks
I’m happy to say this one is actually fully free. The only real issue is I wish the stock listings themselves on the portfolio also allowed me to include the ex dividend date or at least on the calendar. It even says ex div but just gives us div value date. I have to go into the calendar and from there click on the stock and look at previous ex div dates I have to do that for each stock which is annoying also it’s hard to see the blue dots on the calendar representing the pay dates, ex dividend dates are missing from the calendar completely and I wish they used the company logo instead of small blue dots on the calendar
App is actually pretty good
My only problem is when I go to add more stocks as I buy more over time, it lists them as a whole new stock; even though I’m actually just adding more volume of what I already have. So now when I look at my pie chart I have multiple cuts of the pie that are the same stocks and securities. So developers please take note here, that when I go to add more shares of what I already own, add the to same volume I currently have.
Other than that the app is great. Good UI, nice news features. I would like to have a expandable pie chart that I could click on and see a more full screen view of.
Developer Response ,
When you click "Update(auto calc)” button, it will be merged as one asset!
