Welcome to The Hartford’s new mobile app for home and auto insurance.
Our app makes it easier than ever to log into your account using Face or Touch ID — no need to remember a password! Once you’re logged in, you can:
- Get your digital ID cards: Access your Auto ID cards on the go, or save them for later. You can download to your phone or save them to your Apple wallet.
- Manage your billing account info: Review and pay your insurance bill.
- Review your policy summary: Check the details of your coverage, no matter where you are.
Plus, the app is just a click away from our full mobile website, where you can manage everything about your home and auto policies without having to sign in again:
- Start a claim
- Track your claim progress and payment
- Set up automatic bill pay
- Make a policy or vehicle change

Note: Some in-app features may not be available for all customers until summer of 2025right away. In the meantime, you can take full control of your policies online, either on your computer or by visiting the mobile website from the app.

Someone broke in my car
Someone broke into my car and shattered three of the windows. It was so easy when I call The Hartford. Everyone was so nice. They assured me that it would be done and it there was some problems with getting a glass out the doors. I took my car back to the Mercedes dealer who assured me if I contacted my insurance they would cover and they did immediately. I don’t remember the three ladies that helped me, but they helped me really well and guaranteed payment in 24 hours thank you for being such an excellent
Easy Navigation!
The Hartford Insurance app is super easy to use! The Face ID login makes it quick and secure. I can view my policy details, file claims, and share documents with just a few taps. It’s simple, clear, and saves me so much time. Highly recommend!
Terrible update
The new version of this app is useless. You have no option of using the previous version. "Some linked accounts aren't visible in the app now". What do I need this app for then? That's literally the only reason to have it. The website isn't any better if you want to get your ID cards. The link doesn't work and it tells you that you must turn off your pop-up blocker. I'm on my phone... Not to mention it didn't have any problem opening any other links in a different window, only the one I needed as I'm standing in line at the state inspection shop and the man is waiting for me to bring up my ID cards.

Thanks for letting us know about what happened with our app. We've let our team know about your experience with the pop-up blocker and for the inconvenience it caused during your inspection. We're working on bringing more policies into the app and will be investigating that pop-up blocker.
