The Community Compass 4+

Whenever I open it, it just goes to a white screen and doesn’t respond at all. Force closing it and reopening it yields the same result. Not sure what the issue is, but it’s currently unusable.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. We recently released a new version of the app with many updates and changes. Some older versions of the app will no longer open or function. If you haven’t updated the app to the latest version, we recommend doing that by visiting the App Store, Google Play, or by enabling your phone to automatically update apps. I rely on this app for a lot and it recently stopped working, the screen just goes white.

Thank you for your feedback. Last March, we revamped Community Compass, which resulted in the old version of the Community Compass app being no longer available. Please update your app to the latest version. In the past year, we have put a lot of effort into redesigning the app in order to improve the user experience and best serve those looking for food assistance in Indiana. I used this app a couple years ago and it worked ok. It had some kinks but it served its intended purpose. But now it's just junk. None of the links open up. The screen is always freezing. It literally splits screens in half and then freezes! I couldn't access most of the information due to the constant lagging, freezing, etc. Pure junk.

We recently completed several changes to reduce load times and optimize functionality, and the app is currently passing all of our tests for load times. You might also consider checking your network connection, as that can impact app performance.
