I opened it today to a notice that the app would be updated the next time I used it. There are two buttons - one for “okay” and one for “cancel.” Nether button worked. I manually shut down the app and restarted it. A disclaimer showed up with no scroll bar and there was no way to read to the bottom or remove the disclaimer from the screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and the same problems happened. I can’t even get to the main page.
Extremely useful!
I just used the app and found a few sex offenders near me. Very informative! It's also useful to have a one stop shop for reading up on the latest news about Texas's Most Wanted Fugitives. Highly recommend this app to any and all Texas residents interested in staying abreast of incidents pertaining to the state's fugitives, sex offenders, and human trafficking incidents.
Practically worthless.
The Texas Dept of Safety has many many duties, one of which is driver licenses and ID cards. I would argue this is the top reason the public has to stop their life and deal with the TxDPS (DMV for ppl not from here.) If you want help with anything having to do with getting a driver license or a Texas ID card, this app is completely worthless. I can see it being semi-worthwhile if you’re a police officer of any variety and wanting to look up the current top ten fugitives.
