Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful tennis league, easy to use app
I had an amazing time playing tennis during the 2022 summer with the Pittsburgh Tennis League. It was my first time playing this league. It had a lot of players eager to play, so there were plenty of playing opportunities. The website and app of the league made it really easy to find players, see their home courts, get their contact info and reach out to schedule matches. I loved the features for submitting scores after each match and following the leaderboard as the league progressed. I got the opportunity to travel to many different parts in and around Pittsburgh during the course of this league. It allowed me to learn about different neighbourhoods, and their communities, parks and sporting facilities. But the best thing about this league was the amazing and diverse group of players I met. In short, the league is well organized, the website and app makes it easy to schedule matches and the playing environment is fantastic. I will highly recommended it to anyone looking to play tennis regularly with a jolly group of players!
A Convenient and Supportive League for All Levels
I’ve been part of this tennis league for about a year. I joined shortly after I started playing tennis, and it’s been a fantastic way to improve my game. You can schedule matches whenever it works for you, and it’s nice that you can play as many matches as you’d like each season. The women’s league in Austin is especially welcoming—everyone is friendly, helpful, and committed to helping each other get better. I’ve made a few close friends who share my love of tennis, and that sense of community keeps me coming back.
As a newer player, I found it helpful that the league places you in a division based on your skill level, then automatically moves you up if you start winning. It keeps things challenging as you get better. On top of that, the league fees are reasonable, and the app is easy to use. If you’re looking for a reliable way to meet other players, improve your skills, and have fun competing, I highly recommend giving this league a try.
A must for tennis in South Florida
If you want to play competitive tennis, or even casual tennis but with a bit of competition, you have to seriously consider this. I joined in 2012 and have played every season since (minus one because of injury) because it’s run effectively and had players of so many levels. If you play USTA, it’s a great way to find matches that prepare you for tournaments. If you don’t play USTA, it’s a great way to add some competitive and friendly tennis to your experience. From my personal experience, there are many options available for casual and serious players 4.5 NTRP and below. The cost of the league is incredibly reasonable. The flexibility of scheduling makes this a go-to for any player wishing to add a variety of tennis partners to their tennis experience. Without naming other apps, this is the only one that I’ve found to be consistent and reliable. Others have tried and failed.
