Board arrows need to work better

I’m enjoying this new chess app and expect good things. However there is a major annoyance for now, and I wonder if the devs are on it. In the board (game moves) view, any normal reader will scroll up and down to read the entire comments/analysis as they go through move by move. But then the forward arrow does NOT consistently take you to the beginning of the comment accompanying the next move. I constantly end up adding on another “reverse arrow forward arrow” to get the moves and comments to sync again. Fix it please!

Love the app, I have a few suggestion.

I’m enjoying the app. And it was great to follow Poa and Gothams games live with live commentary by the talented people in charge of that. Only thing is that particularly on days where there are no tournaments or games. There’s just nothing to do. Adding a historical game(modern or from the past) that happened on that day would be a good way to just have some content out. Several of them already have analysis, and it would be a way of showcasing interesting games to give people a reason to check in on days where there are no current games happening.

The other suggestion is allowing users to move the pieces to try out ideas. No need for analysis or anything that would just be complicated and pricey. Just allowing users to explore variations on moves if their visualization isn’t that strong.

Still in development

The idea of the app is nice but it is very barebones right now. I can’t speak to the level of commentary on games because I’m not interested in casual commentary, what I do want is an easy and quick place to see the games of top players when I’m not at a computer, which is the draw of the app for me.

It’s supposed to let you follow top chess in one place and give you a list of players you can decide to follow, and when they play games it will appear in your app. However so far they’ve only covered choice events (recently just the WC despite Caruana, Abdusattorov, and Erigasi all playing games daily) and completely ignored the games of the players they put in the app with the option to follow. It’s difficult for me to understand why they list these players to favorite in the app if there won’t be any access to the games, but I hope eventually it will work as intended.
