Horrible app! Horrible, embarrassing experience!
I have never had so many problems with an online app as I did with Taco Bell’s app. On Thursday May 24th I made an online order for this store location 330 w northside dr Jackson ms. I submitted the order over thirty minutes before arriving to the location because I made a stop prior to arriving. The money for my order was taken from my account and when I got to the window I was yelled at and told that I could not have my food (that I had paid for) that they didn’t see any order or money. They yelled at me and made me leave the drive thru. They told me they have nothing to do with the “raggedy” app. I left and went down the road to call the customer service number for a resolution . The rep answers the phone sounding sleepy and nonchalant. She told me there was nothing she could do. It was the apps fault . That I have to wait 3 business days before I can be refunded. I called again today , Tuesday ! And was told that a refund has been requested that now I need to wait 6-10 business days for the app to refund me! I will never use this App again in my life . Thanks Taco Bell for what has been the worst fast food experience of my life ! Delete this app ! Everyone do not use it !! I promise you’ll run into an issue .

App? Not bad. Prices? You’ve lost the plot
Exactly as the title says. Other than a hiccup the first time I ever used it of accidentally having the wrong location cause it didn’t ask me to confirm and grabbed whatever the closest was while we were driving that wasn’t our closest one(and no way to cancel or anything once order is made!) it works great when you have the right location. Having said that you have LOST your ever loving minds and the plot if you believe it’s worth 3-6$ an item…..edit: seriously though, when it’s 6.19 for an app box and 4.99 for a single Doritos cheesy Gordito crunch it’s insanely backwards it should be like half that for the latter and back to 5$ like it used to be for the former. It’s probably costing sales of individual items too cause normally I don’t get anything not part of a box cause it doesn’t math to me to pay almost as much for a single item when for a bit more I could just get 2 boxes especially since I could get a gordito crunch in the second instead of the Crunchwrap. Now if you made it so the CGC could be an item instead of the burrito that would solve all my problems honestly. Edit 2: why can’t you guys also have coupons like BK and MCDs? It wouldn’t “cost” you much of anything and would make it far more appealing to casually come by especially as I don’t often get to go to TB cause I don’t drive and rely on others plans/schedules. I hope you guys seriously do drop prices eventually BTW that’s the biggest issue everyone has here

Can’t buy anymore
The app work fine the first month or two I used it however after the local Taco Bell renovation ( that started several months ago) I have not been able to place an order online. At first it made sense they were closed. However it’s been months since they started taking orders in person and I have yet to be able to place a successful order. At first it was no orders at all (despite the fact they were open and taking customers orders in person) then I could only select the drive thru ( despite the fact that I’ve been taking in orders for walking customers and I see other people picking up online orders. Most likely for third party apps), and now that an option for in-store pick up has become available every time I try to make a purchase with an error occurs and it fails to taking my order even after manually updating the app ( this is in spite of nothing changing on my end). The fact that for months I have not been able to place an order and that literally every arbitrary roadblock has been cleared the first party Taco Bell app is now unavailable to take my order. I’m only giving it a two star instead of one is because it did work for some time and I was able to take advantage of the rewards the app offered. But this app has failed me for the last time and with several different food options within a five minute walk I think I’ll just move on not only from the app but from Taco Bell in general.
