The set up for this app may be more than others you’ve come across, but I promise it’s worth it. You can find the instructions online (Reddit is what I used) and it gives you access to multiple sources so you can find whatever you’re wanting. I’ve been able to find everything I’ve wanted so far and having multiple sources makes it easy if a chapter is messed up on one source to easily find another. It’s free as well! I bought the lifetime unlock because I love the app so much and like the color customization and no ads. 10/10 recommend.

This is the best app for reading manga. The ability to add MAL tracking to the series is fantastic, but I wish you could switch from chapter tracking to volume tracking.

The only other issue with the app so far so far is that if there is an error with the first page (like a 404) when downloading then it fails the whole chapter even if the rest of the pages are fine. Usually if there is an error in the middle of a chapter then it will just skip that page.

The only thing missing is the ability to read ebooks in epub format. I love the library sorting and filtering features of this app and I would love to use this app to keep track of my LNs too.

Another feature that would be awesome is the ability to compress downloaded files in the app. I like to keep my library stored for offline re-reading but comics and manga can get pretty large if you have a big library. I created a Python script to unzip the cbz, convert jpgs to webp, compress images to specified width, and then rezip the cbz on my komga server but that doesn’t help for downloads from other sources.

I've been using this app for a while, and I genuinely appreciate the effort that’s gone into making it such a useful tool. It’s such a great app for us Tachiyomi/Mihon fans.

However, I was disappointed to find that the Face ID and passcode lock features are locked behind a subscription. While I understand the need to monetize the app, I believe that basic security features like these should be available to all users. In today’s world, protecting personal data is crucial, and it feels unfair to restrict such essential privacy tools.

I think making these features accessible to everyone would not only enhance user trust but also show that the developers truly care about the safety and privacy of their entire user base, not just those who can afford to pay for a subscription.

Another thing, adding the option to backup files to Google drive would be a great addition.

I hope the developers will reconsider this decision. The app is already great, but making security features free for all users would make it even better. And an immediate 5 star.
