Great app, with opportunity

Loving this app and happy to see it is out of TestFlight! There seems to be an issue with audio playback when playing through a stereo pair of HomePods connected to a 4k Apple TV. The lipsync is off and after working through settings and noticing that this is the only app we are seeing this issue persist, I want to drop a note to make the developer aware. Thank you for your hard work and looking forward to the evolution of this app!!

Works OK. No DTS 7.1, Atmos or Dolby Vison. Video issues on new Apple TV 4K

This app needs some work. Will not play video unless experimental force direct play is turned on. If this is off, video resolution looks terrible, if it even plays. I have a brand new Apple TV 4K red generation running latest tvOS. This app does not play tru-hd 7.1, Atmos or Dolby vision. If the movie is in 7.1 you will hear no sound. Must change to 5.1 format. Also don’t have your Apple TV set to Dolby vision. If you do, this app will not work correctly and colors will be messed up. Make sure your Apple TV is set to 4K SDR. Would be nice to have ability to add folders without having to go into media and then my folder. Add this to the home screen

Tried the Infuse Player by another developer and it works with all the above without any issues. Only give this app two stars because it’s free. Hoping you can fix the issues mentioned above

Some good, some bad

There are some good features. I like how the media container info is show in the About section and the hamburger menu for multiple editions (although I would just prefer to have them displayed in a list). However that’s completely missing on tvOS. And on iPad there is no subtitle display control during playback: you have to back out completely and go into Settings. Finally, there, if you decrease the font size, the subtitles get BIGGER. (!) As for browsing libraries, there is no alpha scroll bar on any platform and no filters on tvOS, making it very difficult to navigate any sizable library. If I could rearrange the UI and add those missing features, especially the missing pieces on tvOS, this would rock.
