I cannot stress enough on how well executed this is. Unlike other flash ports, Buffalo Bison, Learn to Fly, Fancy Pants, ect. Which scale upgrade cost to make buying currency a requirement or lock most the game and even upgrades behind paywalls… this game looks and feels like the original game. It honestly feels like a true sequel game.

Everything can be earned naturally through regular gameplay, with the purchasable currency (shells) being used solely to speed progression with an additional bonus on money earned at the end of each level, or gaining new characters through roulette.

So yeah, if you wanna play Toss the Turtle on mobile or tablet this is the one. Honestly it’s the type that makes you wanna purchase the currency and watch ads just to show appreciation.

Decades later, this brings back so many memories and so much nostalgia. Based off the classic flash game, it’s packed with classic boosts, spikes and gear as well as new foes, obstacles, and canons. Newgrounds were my stomping grounds (🥁tss) ages ago and I still get on from time to time because they survived the end of Adobe flash. I can even play the original on mobile which is so surreal because I never would have imagined playing flash games on a mobile years ago. Bottom line: it’s as fun as it’s always been with newer upgrades and mechanics to play around with. I normally can’t be bothered write reviews but this one’s worth it foreverkul gonzossm definitely deserve credit for contributing to so many childhoods including my own.

This app was based off a popular flash game. I remember playing toss the turtle on my computer in the early 2000s, and I really liked it, it worked well on the platform. I was thinking about it a few days ago, and it led me to this

The good: The base game is really fun and addicting. I particularly love the prestige (post-game) mode. It is a good reward for beating the game. The different things you can interact with are really fun and creative. The different cannon, guns, and power-ups, are really good ideas.

The bad: The game is updated much too little. The base game is pretty short. It only took me a few days to beat, but that may be because I played a lot. (the game is addicting).

My verdict: Get it. If you are on the fence, in my personal opinion the game is extremely rewarding, and fun. What really makes the game spectacular, is the humour. The description for each jet pack, chest bomb, power-up, gun, and cannon, are genuinely funny. Another thing are the characters. I love the many creative character you can toss. My personal favourite is a hulk-like teddy bear. Other characters are oxymorons like that. Get the game!
