Since the 1960s especially during Vietnam, Americans became concerned with the media. Concerned with reporting facts. The issue of facts, true investigative journalism, and the “ protection of the Third Estate “became a reality with the rise of the Internet and social media. Newspapers lost advertising revenue stream. Investigative journalism/journalists were a funding black hole .. How could printed / cable / Traditional news networks maintain the bottom line? Result closing of overseas news bureaus .. with that the source of information became government agencies .. no independent verification.. no probative questions just accepting at face value. The “ Media “ in general capitulated to political parties . The largest capitulation was the liberal media CNN , ABC ( Remember Ted and “ Night Line “ ) NYT , WP, etc . On the conservative side FOX and NEWSMAX .. EPOCH TIMES .. My opinion the ratio was 90% capitulation of traditional media sources to more liberal ideas, politics etc

I, as a conservative, do want to understand all sides of a particular issue. I NEVER would consider that any one side is fully trustworthy. However, with your App, etc I do find it’s balanced and that is what I want! THANK YOU!!!!

The app itself functions relatively well. The interface is good looking and easy to use and navigate. I have a few hiccups every now and then. Examples: Video not playing, Video getting stuck on screen, selecting a video but a different one plays. These aren’t app breaking and usually, closing the app and re-opening will resolve the issue. The app is going to continue to improve over time.

The reason I’m writing this review, is to help bring awareness to Straight Arrow News. I want this app to really rise in the algorithm to get in front of more people. The content is amazingly unbiased. It’s to the point and no fluff. Easy to digest. Gives you only the facts that are known at the time. I love you Craig Nigrelli. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before but I was motivated to with this app.

I’m new to SAN, and downloaded it with a fair degree of skepticism. I’ve seen a number of other organizations CLAIM to be unbiased. They lied. Every. Time. SAN has a different idea…they show you all the sources they have for a story, and a graphic representation of their bias - Left, Right or Center. This lets you see not only who is covering the story (often a great indicator of how it’s perceived by the media), but also provides insight as to how outlets are spinning the story. Until and unless everybody in the media stops conflating editorials with hard news, this looks like a great way to discern when bias gets out ahead of news.
