One of my father’s stories was my favorite: “Once upon a time there lived a merchant with his wife. The family was happy and had never known grief. However, their maid, Julianne, was jealous of the little family's happiness and secretly dreamed of taking the place of a beloved wife. She learned of unholy powers hidden deep within the manor that could be summoned by a ritual … although there was a cost. She cursed the merchant's wife, unleashed deadly powers. The merchant vows to devote the rest of his life to finding a way to release his beloved wife from her cursed world.”
Years have passed. My father dies, but he leaves me a message: “Your favorite fairy tale was the true story of our family. I tried to free your mother's spirit, but I failed. I beg you to finish what I could not. The solution is waiting in our old family home.”

I’m in love with this game
Wow this game is incredible, this might be the first game I fall in love with haha. It’s such a good game from the graphics and the music, to the story that brings this game to life!! In fact the story in the game is so good it sounds like it could be a real story. I will most definitely say this is the best game I’ve ever downloaded and the puzzles are actual puzzles I love how it doesn’t have those candy crush puzzles to solve a mystery.
My only problem is that I have to pay to unlock the whole game it’s a little sad cause I was hooked when I started playing, other than that this game is perfect I would most definitely recommend it!! Oh and one more thing I like this game because it has paranormal things in the game which is also part of the story I mean how much better could this game get it mixes mystery’s and paranormal stuff in the game I want to continue playing but I can’t pay for it...

I believe this game has potential,however it closes out almost every time I change locations. I am able to get back into the game by restarting but it is super annoying. I would like to buy the entire game, but will wait for an update first. Please fix the stability.
UPDATE 2: After updating I played the game through with only 1 crash (when entering the grotto area at the end of the game). Thank you to developers for the quick response to this. Overall a good game. I have also updated my rating to 5. Keep up the good work and we will support your company. I am anxious for your next release.
UPDATE: I am playing on the ipadPro latest edition 12.9 display, 256gb. I bought the game hoping it would improve, however the problems remained. I finally made it “almost” to the end, but the game froze after crossing the beams to open the portal, and I was unable to finish.

Just wanted to take a minute and say this is a very good game. I literally have purchased every game in this genre and was quite upset when I learned that Big Fish wasn’t doing these types of games anymore. However it’s a relief to see that we haven’t been abandoned, and that there are still other people who will continue making these games. This game has a really nice quality about it. Great music, great graphics. Thank you for making this game. I read that it took you guys 3 1/2 yrs. to make this game and it shows. Nice job. I have played your other games as well and I thought you guys weren’t making games anymore I’m really glad I was wrong. If you keep making them I will be a loyal customer and buy them. Again thank you for making this game it’s definitely encouraging.. look forward to what your going to do next.
