SpinCraft: Roguelike Puzzle 4+

I never write write reviews but this game has potential! Really really fun. But sadly once you fine what works there’s no point to try any other combos. Ex if you go flowers you can get to 30+ every time no problem and get almost 10k a spin! Nothing else in the game scales like that. So why would someone ever deviate from that stray knowing it isn’t going to be any good. Since the game is about getting far to level up . Also the perks upgrades need to get better. They don’t really help at all. Also there needs to be an auto spin function. Especially since I can get my core items when I go flowers I don’t ever need to pick another symbol. I wish I could auto spin and save my picks for later. But seriously awesome game. Needs better perma upgrades that feels like you did something Or maybe implement a perks system where u can spend extra cash to upgrade a perma perk. Idk. So many ideas. I guess It got full and repetitive for me But more fun perks or perma upgrades would definitely change the game for the better. I get sick of just searching for the same items. But seriously make better perma upgrades. Or allow your self to spend extra cash you get spinning to get a perma perk or a perk system. Since it is a rogue like

Also please make it so I can auto spin and save my upgrades for later!!! And better upgrades. They get repetitive especially since some don’t really do anything

Regarding strategies, it's actually pretty hard to get exactly what you want since it's RNG based (like most rougelikes/lites) - but I'll add and say that level 30 is not high, the game is meant to be reached to level 50+, where each spin costs 2.14 billion coins :) So you still have some testing to do :)

SpinCraft is an easy-to-learn experience based on the premise: What if you can add symbols to to the slot machine as you are playing?

But these aren’t boring Vegas slots. Instead, SpinCraft has a whole ecosystem of “roguelike deckbuilding” symbols, archetypes, and items/artifacts. This is SpinCraft’s strongest point, and the variety of synergies and possible builds turns even the repetitive task of pulling the slot machine lever into an “adventure.”

But SpinCraft and Vegas slots still share that one frustrating trait that winning or losing ultimately comes down to luck, and this is where I feel conflicted. “RNG” is a staple in the roguelike genre, but the SpinCraft slots medium takes it to the extreme. In your typical roguelike, there is usually a point where you can rely on player skill alone after achieving a sufficiently strong build. But in SpinCraft, you are **always** at the mercy of RNG whether at spin 1 or spin 100.

But can I really complain? Isn’t that the nature and appeal of slots? Perhaps it’s my fault for expecting control over a slot machine. So despite my frustrations, I’m giving SpinCraft a full 5/5 stars.
