Description
Learn and practise Castilian Spanish verbs with this interactive verb reference and drill tool. With over 300 core verbs, Spanish Verb Blitz is a clear and effective way to refresh and revise your grammar skills as well as expand your everyday vocabulary.
As well as a verb reference, there is a set of intensive verb drill activities to quiz your conjugation knowledge, including:
- Infinitive quiz: do you know the meaning of the each verb?
- Conjugation quiz: can you select the correct verb form for the English translation?
- Snap quiz: can you spot when the Spanish and English sentences match? Try to get ten in a row!
- Gapfill: can you spell out the missing word in the conjugated sentence?
In the settings, you can select which tenses to drill in the games. So whether you're a beginner, or already on the way to mastery, there's a level for you.
The app will track your scores throughout the games, so you can check in the Performance section at any time to see the entries you're finding trickiest.
The verbs selected represent some of the most commonly used Spanish words, so Spanish Verb Blitz is a great way to increase and practise your everyday vocabulary, too.
What's more, the app is Classkit-ready for use with Apple's Schoolwork app for teachers and students. The activities in the 'quizzes' section can be distributed as Schoolwork handouts, testing learners on some of the most fundamental principles of Spanish verbs, including the conjugations of ser and estar ('to be').

Love Gap Fill Game
I really enjoy the gap fill game. I am working on present tense verbs currently, but when I master them I will move on and add more tense selections. The only thing that I think would make it better would be if the game had sound and pronounced the word once it was written correctly. I hope the makers of this game will consider adding that feature.

Great Verb Training App
If it’s your goal to master Spanish verbs and conjugations this app will get you there through several memorization formats. Hopefully one day the developer will add a feature to allow the selection of verbs one would like to master. However the developers did an awesome job creating this app.
UPDATE: First I want to add that the developer of this app is awesome! I received an email that provided instructions for selecting specific verbs. From the Verb Reference list I just swipe to the left on a specific verb. You will see a check mark by that verb. When you select 10 or more verbs, the game offers you an option to just play with those verbs and not the whole Verb bank. Just what I needed! Thank you!

Thanks so much for your review - we're very happy that you're finding the app useful for your Spanish! You can actually select a set of verbs to practise by using the 'Mark Learnt' feature. In the verb browser list, swipe left on any of the table cells, and you should be able to mark that verb as a 'learnt' one that you are familiar with. When you have more than ten marked, the games should offer you the option to just play with those verbs and not the whole bank. It's a little bit of a hidden feature, and we plan to make it a bit clearer in future, but in the meantime, we hope this helps you to activate it. Thanks again, and happy learning! :-)
