Ratings and Reviews
It has gotten much better
When I started using Spam Response I had to enter all info on the website. The app has made reporting simple and quick. Each text from an Unknown Sender appears with a message “This sender is not in your contact list” and is followed by a blue highlighted button “Report Message”. Tapping that button has worked well in reporting.
Literally doesn’t work
When reporting a span message a window pops up asking if I’m sure I want to report it showing the app logo with no options to choose other than “cancel” and “done.” After pressing either of those nothing appears in the “report history” portion of the app.
I didn’t want to write a negative review and originally chose to send a message about this in the contact us portion of the app. I had everything typed up and pressed send and there was a pop up saying “this device could not send email.” So here we are!
I should have known better.
I should have known better with only reviews and the app being out for 2 years. I installed this out of desperation for the amount of text spam I was getting. 4 days after installing the pattern of receiving text spam changed. Today, for the first time I got a spam text with variants of my own number. Coincidence? I don’t think so. I hate to think what I’ve unleashed on my phone now.
