Before launching the app, make sure you have a personal online banking profile at https://www.southernbank.com/personal/mobile. This will sync all your data and keep your accounts up to date.

Personal Finance Tools: A variety of tools to help you better manage your money. Make budgeting easy with Budget Bubbles. Review your spending habits and transactions. Set your financial goals and see how long it will take you to achieve them.
Account Controls: Deposit checks, transfer money between accounts, pay bills, receive instant real-time alerts for account activity, and view your account balance, all from the home screen.

Takes Great Care
Southern Bank in Nashville has always given 100% to their customers. Pam Avent and Amy Beasley are on top of their jobs and all the tellers are extremely helpful. They seem to look after their customers as if they were family and I like that. This is why we have been with Souther Bank for years and years and never plan to use any other banking institution.
Busted log in screen
I’ve been patient waiting for an update since this new app was launched. It’s been months and the first interaction with the app (the login screen) is a complete mess. Face ID doesn’t work and I have to re-enter my credentials every time. It’s fine once you get in. Too bad every experience starts with an annoyed user.
Bad mobile deposit
I would give it zero stars, that would be unfair bc the whole app isn’t trash. The mobile deposit with me has been terrible. It will approve the checks on the app but never approve for an actual deposit on the bank end. The checks are good no issues on bouncing have double checked for every check that I have tried. Every week now has failed, making a trip inside the bank inevitable. A convenient feature that’s not so “convenient”.
