Use echolocation to identify objects by echo, navigate indoors blindly

This application is provided for entertainment purposes and is not intended for use by persons who are blind or have low vision.

You can use the “Sound Flashlight” application to play blind man’s buff or to navigate indoors blindly, if there is no risk of injury or damage to your iPhone.

- Launch the application.

- Hold the phone in your hand with the iPhone speaker holes facing forward.

- Close your eyes.

- Touch the screen.

- Rotate the iPhone body in different directions.

- Select the appropriate sound frequency and pulse repetition rate by moving your finger across the screen.

- Try to understand the differences in sounds reflected from different large objects (for example, walls) at different distances.
