Version 1.3.0
Season 3: Submertide
New Map: Searcrest Fathoms
1. Features 1 new dungeon area and Thalassian story arc;
2. Features approximately 30 new pieces equipment (including boss gear).
New Classes: Light-Based Classes
1. S3’s new base class: Lightbringer can be unlocked via purchasing the Gold Order Medallion;
2. For the first time, 5 Prestige Classes will be rolled out throughout the course of S3.
New Progression: Eidolon System
The brand-new progression system centered on Eidolons is now live, being obtainable through making Wishes. Eidolons are divided into offensive, defensive and support-types, with dedicated slots for them to be equipped. Eidolons can boost heroes’ base stats, and more importantly, provide talent bonuses.
New Mode: Affixed Dungeons
Unlocks upon completing the Submertide seasonal storyline, whereupon all dungeons will gain the option to be tagged with affixes. Affixes come in a multitude of flavors (buffs and monster enhancements, for instance) that combine to create distinctly variegated combat encounters from run to run. Affixed dungeons have more varied drops compared to their regular counterparts for optimal-efficiency loot-running.
New Difficulty: Ultra Extreme
Take on creatures Ultra Extreme in their aggression and bloodthirst for a chance at all-new U-tier equipment, and a raised enhancement level cap of 11+.
New Insane-Quality Equipment
New Insane-gear have been added in-game that synergize with new classes to create a plenitude of unique builds.
New Collectibles
1. “Radiant Sea”-themed battle pass rewards: all-new home decor, furniture, and skins for both hero and weapons are now in-game.
2. “Splash Bash Summeree”-themed Gachapon Dispenser prize pool: all new skins for both hero and weapons are now in-game.
Improvements to Other Game Content
1. Made optimizations to the UI layout for the seasonal battle pass and Proving Grounds leaderboards;
2. Made optimizations to the progression experience for dungeons and reduced the number of required levels for clearing a dungeon for first playthroughs;
3. Made tunings to the requirements for unlocking gameplay mechanics from previous seasons (cybermodding, projection dungeons, Projection Playground, etc.) and optimizations to gameplay experience;
4. Made optimizations to co-op and added an emote system for during runs.
Ratings and Reviews
A blast with a bug or two
I loved the original Soul Knight, and I might like this more. This game is like if Soul Knight and Diablo II had a baby, and it is a blast. I highly recommend it.
And really, that is an understatement. It feels like the developers really wanted to take the things they learned from Soul Knight and improve on them here. And they succeeded. The tweaking system is fun, I enjoy leveling up the characters. It’s just good ole fun.
Some current things to think about -
As of December, 2023, there are a couple bugs. For one, I very frequently get a screen that pops up and gives me a message about connecting to the server. It goes away if I press retry and I don’t mind that, but maybe wait a little longer to try it if you think that will annoy you.
It seems to err on the easy side. To be fair, I played way too much Soul Knight and I could just be that good. But also my five year old was playing and wasn’t overwhelmed, si there’s that. Honestly I kind of liked that aspect, I downloaded it on another device so we can play together. But for me, I wish it had a hard mode. I’ve tried going to worlds that suggest higher levels than I am and that’s better, but I’m still too buff and skilled I guess.
Bottom line though:
This is a solid RPG that I have already recommended to friends and family so they will play with me. I think you will enjoy it, I gave it 5 stars for a reason (even counting the bugs).

Overall Good, but too many errors
Very fun game. I quite enjoy it. Unfortunately the game is riddled with bugs. I note 3 significant ones below:
1) Not Synchronizing w/ New Season
My old characters (which I’ve only made a week ago) do not sync up with the season updates, and this cannot participate with any of the new season’s benefits. Only my new character (made about 2 days ago) can.
2) Multi-player issues
I have played the multi player aspect of this game, but the game glitches too much, thus preventing a smooth play. For example, my old characters cannot play with my friend’s newer characters. Or during multi player games, the maps glitch and forces us to disconnect (thus far this has only happened when entering a room portal).
Also notable is that cursed chests create monsters that each person must fight, as opposed to fighting together. I noticed this after opening a cursed chest and I only had slimes or goblins, but over the phone, my friend was fighting some lizard or dragon monster. Unsure if this is a feature or a bug.
3) Connection issues
I still have no idea why I need to retry to connect to the server so many times.
This game has a lot of potential, please fix these issues (and others that have been shared) to make the game enjoyable for all!

Hi thanks for reaching out and your detailed feedback. For issue 1) and part of 2), as far as for S1, the rules for seasonal transition are like this that characters created before the current season become permanent characters and are limited to new season's content, while unable to enter co-op mode with seasonal characters, but still can play with other permanent characters. We aim to encourage players to try out different classes along with other new stuff from seasonal updates. You can read articles on SKP web for more info (https://preview.soulknight-prequel.prod.chilly.tech/et), and these are also available on Discord. And for the glitch and network bugs, could you please offer us recordings of these issues and send it to info@chillyroom.games? It would be very helpful to us.
Bug review from a Stan
Hey Chillyroom Devs, just wanted to give you a list of all the bugs that I’ve seen in soul knight, and a few suggestions(otherwise this game is perfect thank you for making it) I am a level 44 ranger named nuklear at the time of making this.
Bugs and suggestions in skp
Catpurse spawns out of bounds
Daggers for their skill fall out of bounds
Bosses that summon monsters or you have the animancer class then your minions and their minions get pushed out of bounds
Resolve points should be easier to see
You should be able to control the direction of where you go with the shadow strike ability
Statue of necromancy minions spawn and respawn until you clear the dungeon level
Controller mode doesn’t let you tab to the third panel on the skills menu
Sometimes the statue of monstrosities doesn’t give you a reward when you beat all the monsters
You should be able to downgrade equipment so you can transfer the items to a lower level alter account
The weathered hesphatite doesn’t let me change my fatebound effect. It keeps saying must have more than one fatebound effect (I had 2)
