This bank is finished.
Since SAMBA merged with NCB, it’s created a monstrosity of a bank that doesn’t seem to get anything right. I’m currently sitting abroad. The app refuses log on, you get the processing screen. I’d be okay with the system going down for a day but two days. For the record the online banking website on my router refuses to work.
Every other bank from SABB to Al Rajhi work just fine. I’ll be closing my account with SNB the moment I get back. They seem to think having access to your bank account a trivial matter, furthermore, contacting their help center would add insult to injury with their usual lack of knowledge and the same monotonous replies.
Absolutely pathetic.
Old version had easier navigation
The new version has quicker assess to account activity and balance, but harder navigation with the Sadad options. My information did not seem to transfer and registering my phone for Sawa credit is not going through.
The app needs better integration with my data and previous profile.
Credit card balance widget bug
Usually the credit card widget is in the home page before the last update which tells you information about how much you consumed out of your credit and how much you should pay
Now it’s hidden inside a separate page that you can access through the other icon and the credit icon which is a little complicated but I didn’t mind it until I noticed that after accessing it through that long process when I go back to my app homepage suddenly it appears there u til I long in and out again
It’s a nasty bug that effects the user experience with the app
