Prolific Participants- BEWARE!!!
If you are a prolific participant and have been asked to download this app for a study - DO NOT DO IT and please save yourself the headache!! They are a scam AI company and will try to get you to work for hours only to harvest your information and tell you it wasn’t valid after downloading your data and hard work. they are not responsive and will tell you that your submission was not acceptable or ignore you altogether. Do a search about this on REDDIT: you will find a lot of further information on this and what to do if it’s too late and they are already trying to scam you. Doesn’t even deserve one star. You have been WARNED!!!
Not good for time-sensitive tasks.
I needed to use this app for audio collection, and I wish I didn’t. What was supposed to be an hour-long process took all day because of 1-2 minute wait times for every script I was supposed to read, all 368 of them. Not to mention the random timeout errors. Tech support was also unresponsive when I reached out for help.
Easy way to make some extra money
My husband and I did a job doing mock conversations between doctor/patient. The job was easy to complete and the pay was good for our time. I have spoken with one of the leads on the project multiple times. He was very nice and helpful. 5 stars from us :)
