Description

Session Studio is the must-have music collaboration tool for music creators, producers and musicians who want to manage their song rights and credits, from the studio right through to release.

• Collaborate with music creators by uploading & sharing audio, lyrics, notes and voice memos.
• Synchronize song information from major DAWs and recording software to the Session Studio App (desktop only)
• Log creator credits and identifiers from all collaborators via QR check-in.
• Manage your releases and label copy.
• Access to the app across mobile, desktop and web.

The Session Studio app collects all creator metadata and ensures it’s injected authoritatively into the music ecosystem (labels, distributors, publishing rights organizations, streaming platforms), facilitating correct creator credits and accurate, timely music royalty payments. Highly functional

Improves project coordination for my band immensely. Essential part of our work flow, especially since we all have our own studios.

Missing Auddly features

This app is supposed to replace the sessions ID app which replaced the auddly app before that. The previous 2 apps and the website had features that catered to songwriting like a memo recorder and an ideas section. They were very useful for generating and keeping ideas. These features are gone now. I want them back. I hate having to keep my songwriting components separated in a fragmented multi-app workflow. One of the things that drew me to auddly was the all-in-one-place workflow solution from the beginning of an idea to managing splits and credits. If these are still coming in the new app, great! But maybe you shouldn’t have transitioned until they were in place. If they are not coming than I will be looking for another solution. I have loved auddly from the start and I want to like sessions studio. But this iteration is definitely a step backwards.

Developer Response ,

Hello Steve and thank you for your feedback.

You still have the opportunity to record voice memo ideas in Session Studio, directly in a song (navigate from Song > Audio > Click + button > Select Record). We are also looking into how we can improve this going forward, make it even easier.

And regarding ideas, to fast and easy capture any idea on the go is key. One thing we are investigating now is how to make ideas a natural part of the workflow.

Our ambition is still the be the all-in-one-place app for your songwriting.

Happy creating!

Search

Still getting used to this new app. One very important feature in any data base app should be a search feature to filter out projects. At the moment you have to scroll to find a project. Cant imagine people with a lot of projects.

Otherwise still trying to figure it out and get used to the changes.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the feedback. We are already working on the search feature and it will be released soon!
