A great way to make money! I can see the school, it’s distance, and what grade I’m subbing for so I am able to take jobs based on my preferences. The sub support team is amazing and always helpful in solving problems! I had a school cancel on me day of when I was already on my way and dressed and Rachel was able to quickly divert me to a different job and got me partial pay from the first one to compensate my time. I am in nursing school while I do this and this is the only reason I can have a job right now with my hectic school schedule! The only downside is having to sort out your own taxes. I wish there was a way to withhold or reserve them automatically so when I file taxes next year I can just submit that withheld money but that’s alright.

I wish I could mark times and not just days I am unavailable. Because there are many days where I can only do a half day, but I either have to mark “unavailable” in order to not be bugged by notifications, or I have to just keep getting bugged by the incessant notifications for jobs I can’t take. Please fix this and let us add times we are available please on the days where we aren’t available the whole day.

Also, please let us choose how often we want to be notified. It’s like seriously every dang minute I get a notification when a job comes available.

Also, pay certified teachers what we should get paid. I hardly want to take jobs because of how little they pay. Salt Lake county school districts pay at LEAST $180 per day for certified teachers.

Anyone who like me found this and is questioning if it is really what is says it is or if it’s too good to be true, download the app! It’s for real! You go to schools and help out, if you don’t like a school it’s easy to rate them and they listen to feedback so they can be better for future subs. It’s a great way to get into education or if you have a really crazy schedule and aren’t sure if you can work on a given day ahead of time. I love it! And it is the best paying job I’ve ever had (better than fast food, retail, and entry level medical). Senya support is really helpful, even though the app does funny things on occasion, they are always quick to sort it out when I reach out.
