Taking a photo of my EOB is so much easier than asking my providers for paper receipts that I then have to lake a copy of for myself and then spend money to mail or fax the receipts to just to get reimbursed for my copay. For once, something healthcare related is...dare i say it? EASY!!
Easy Claim Reimbursement
It is very easy to file a claim through the app. Unfortunately, I had to file a claim through the app because they cut off my card, because they wanted a specific letter. This is cause me to spend $100 out-of-pocket that I could’ve used via my card. Blocking is a policy worth revisiting? It’s not helpful to the patient, especially when co-pays and medication‘s are so high, and someone may not have the funds for medication if it wasn’t for their FSA/HSA card
Submitting claim
My husband had an ECHO done at a medical facility, used his Bene card, but you would not accept this? Why? Then, trying to send a copy of bill took forever because system would not recognize the bills. It’s a medical procedure ordered by his doctor, why do you question it? Our claim finally went to Sentinel, but we still don’t know if it will come out of our Bene card. The only option was to have payment sent to me, which makes no sense. It should be deducted from the card.
