Say Allo Dating App 17+

So far so good

I have spent a few weeks on this dating app, and it's pretty fascinating. Very similar to tinder and bumble but recently noticed my match recommendations changing the more I swipe, I'm usually bombarded with crazy guys all the time, but here they are little more respectful - somewhat strange and refreshing at the same time. It's pretty cool, signed up because of the AI machine intelligence aspect of this if it can save me time from weeding through photos and profiles I'm in! The jury is out if I actually find love and I like it so far. Guess I’ll keep swiping and see what this thing can do ☺

Horrible app

I wouldn’t waste your time on this app. I have had it for close to a month and did not have a single match. It encouraged me to “expand my search”, but then would pull potential “matches” from way outside any range I was actually interested in. Age and location were important factors to me, yet there didn’t seem to be anyone to match with despite having a rather large range for both. The majority of the profiles that popped up were featured profiles, with no idea where they were located, and quite frankly, they looked like people who were paid to model for the app. Not realistic. There’s no way to see people’s sexual preference either, so no matter what you set, you could be wasting your time swiping on people not even looking for the same thing. And while the “compatibility” feature sounds good in theory, I would really like to see what actually goes into that, considering we aren’t asked very many questions, I can’t imagine it’s very accurate. And lastly, as much as it’s nice to see how often you’re being “swiped right”, it is rather demoralizing to be “ranked” among the people on the app. Way to make someone feel like crap who already has taken a hit to their self esteem by resorting to online dating. Definitely was highly disappointed with this app.

To view your compatibility report with another user to expose our compatibility index, in the latest 2.0 version of the app you can tap the “Full Report” button on any profile to see exactly how you match up. Here, you can also see who has swiped on your profile and determine if you’d like to match or send an Icebreaker to specific users who you’re most interested in making a connection with.

In response to your search criteria comment, if there are not enough users in your area or your search criteria is defined to a point where there is a limited number of available profiles, we do expand the search criteria slightly in an attempt to show you the closest available matches. Featured Profiles are intended to show you users that you could be compatible with that may be located outside of your search criteria. As Say Allo is powered by a learning algorithm, the more you use and interact with the application, the smarter the app becomes to guide you to better matches. We have a strict policy not to allow any fake profiles, but we sometimes need the help of our community of users to help report profiles that may seem suspicious.

Although we cannot guarantee matches, as that requires two parties swiping on each other to be connected, we’d love to look into why you may not have received a match to help better your experience. A look behind the curtain

With so many dating apps, it can be hard to distinguish between them. Why should I pick one to swipe through over another? So many of them have the same people on them, the same functionality, and the same results.

What I like about Say Allo is the analytics behind it. It’s cool to look at my dashboard and find out which photos are performing best, how I stack up against other men in my age range, and how my interests are aligned with potential matches. It seems like the app provides more opportunities for actually making a connection that my last beyond a date or two. That kind of intelligence makes the experience of using the app more fun and interesting, and more likely to result in finding someone awesome.
