Description

The SANDAG Travel Survey app uses the latest stop detection techniques to help survey respondents to easily capture their trips while minimizing battery drain.

How to participate - this app is a part of a larger transit survey designed to better understand how transit users travel. Participants are recruited at random mostly during live on-transit interviews. Participants that are recruited can participate via smartphone, online, or over the phone.

If I am selected, why should I participate? It is more important than ever for the transit agencies to get input from transit users, so they can better understand their transportation needs. Understanding where, when, and why people travel is critical for making local area transportation improvements.

Totally inaccessible to blind people – – the very people who have to use public transportation!

Buttons are not labeled. It is impossible to pick bus or trolley stops if one must use voiceover. This is a wonderful example of government getting away with violating the Americans With Disabilities Act. This is what we get for our tax dollars.
