Samply - Listen & Share 4+

I will explain how I work and it might lend some insight into why this app is great. Firstly, I have to declare - Samply is killing it in the iOS app space. Simply put, their app packs in more functionality than any other in its category at the moment. Their team should be proud. They’re miles ahead when it comes to being conducive to the way I work.

I’m not an engineer. I’m an independent musician, writing, recording, and producing everything myself. I need a reliable workflow for hosting my works-in-progress, with the flexibility to download, delete, and move around mixes. I can’t tell you how many competing services don’t feature said functionality in their respective apps. That’s a big +1 for Samply.

In addition, they employ a polished interface, an intuitive menu system, and enough of their web app, you could work out of Samply for iOS exclusively and still have 80-90% of what they offer at your fingertips. It’s an amazing service and app that complements my situation.

If you’re an indie musician who needs a way to manage your demos or mixes on the go, look no further. Samply has it down pat. Keep up the awesome work!

As an independent artist often collaborating remotely, Samply has comprehensively streamlined my workflow. Our band leaves feedback, makes changes, uploads zips and other files, and even hosts meetings all through Samply. I cannot recommend this app enough to anyone who makes music. Songs play through like they would on any streaming service and we can even share links with others to allow listener feedback from those who may not have the app. Perfect product for any recording artist.

Samply has completely changed the way I organize and write albums. I love how responsive the developers are, in rolling in new features and squashing any bugs along the way. They listen to their user base, and because of that, have created a web application and iOS app that I use every single day. I ponied up for the indie tier, but the free tier and iOS app are a must for anyone creating audio.
