Media files

There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to delete or re-record a media file attached to a rubric.

Developer Response ,

After selecting add media file and choosing audio, then tap the record button below. Tap the ‘tap to stop button’ to stop recording.
Tap the ‘audio file’ button after it is recorded to get the option to delete the file and then you can re record.

A great solution for assessing learners!

This is perfect for the instructor who wishes to use rubric assessments, constructive commentary and real time feedback. Rubric Scorer can provide the perfect blend between data collection and constructive criticism, allowing the instructor or leader to focus on the learner's growth in the classroom, instead of using a final "grade" as a reward or punishing mechanism.
The developers of this App have created an approach which is somewhat flexible, adaptable, and easy to use for any type of instructional setting. The developers are open to suggestions, and implement ideas... heard from you, the user... when it can benefit all. A huge plus in my book!
Rubric Scorer also has functionality with other apps created by the developer, as well as the ability to import and export from Google Classroom. I have found myself using Rubric Scorer almost exclusively in my classroom, and will continue to do so.
It is a great product, for the price.

Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate hearing from users like you. Many of the new features are directly inspired from user suggestions.

Best formative assessment app!

I’ve been a practitioner of standards based greeting and competency learning for almost a decade, and this app is the most useful tool I have found to help in the formative assessment process. With this app, I’m able to assess student learning on the fly in the classroom, give feedback, and adjust the teaching and learning based on that data collected. The best part is that I can share all of that with my students, giving them clear, actionable feedback.

With a few simple taps, I can record the assessments, keep a record for myself, and return a pdf with comments to all of my students.

I love the intuitive user experience, simple interface, and first-class support. I had an issue syncing between devices, and the developer replied immediately, worked through the problem, offered support, and even updated the app over the next couple of days.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for contacting me by email. I always appreciate users emailing with any questions or issues and I am grateful to be able fix any bugs or add any new features to the app.
