Description

RSS Chemicals is a cloud-based chemical inventory management tool developed with a researcher-centric approach. It allows easy tracking and maintenance of containers using a barcoding system. Chemical and safety information, such as hazard codes and first aid, are auto-populated. The app enables users to create chemical networks to share chemicals while controlling access easily. RSS Chemicals includes a complementary web application that works in sync with the mobile app and has additional features such as structure search and import/export capabilities.

Features include:
• Supports add/remove/track via barcodes and mobile camera
• Advanced inventory search based on name, CAS, or substructure
• Provides hazard codes, storage, and first aid information.
• Ability to share and track chemicals among research groups while controlling access levels

Cannot login

I can’t get past the login screen. I put in my email. And am trying to click “sign in” but the button isn’t highlighted so I can even click it. Tried force closing but it didn’t help.

I’m open to leaving a higher rating if someone could help me move past the login screen please!

Missing function and need to keep me logged in

It is extremely hard to log in to the app while working in the lab and having my gloves on. Especially difficult when I need to verify the MFA. Also, the waste management function is missing. I have to travel between the lab and office to get the job done. Obviously the team need to talk with the real users who are working in the lab and dealing with hazardous materials.

Please fix the app -.- ,

Test Your Updates Buddy

The new update:

1) initially crashed 100% of the time on login
2) removed the ability to see chemical inventory outside of your own lab
3) removed or obfuscated the way to new log chemicals into your own lab’s inventory.

I know the UC is physically incapable of having functional web infrastructure, but do you think you guys could make an exception in this case so I can continue effectively doing my job for you? Jesus Christ.

Developer Response ,
