Ratings and Reviews
Difficult to Use
Had a difficult time figuring out how to connect my Tidal music service. Once I did, I’m still unable to find all the albums and playlists I had created.
So many empty folders containing no information all over the app.
Needs Improvemwnt
The app works and is stable which is good but the broken English translation all the way through in the app is terrible. Using words like “UnActive” instead of “Inactive” or “This is not playing status” instead of just saying “Not Playing” or even “Listen this music now” versus “Listen TO this music now”. Additionally the app is somewhat cumbersome, I would like the option to re-arrange the selection icons at the bottom of the screen or be able to disable unused options. I would really like to see some improvements here and would be happy to assist with more ideas. I just find it hard for the cost of the RS150B to not have an app of equal quality.
Unstable yet again
With a recent update, there was regression where the app couldn’t find HiFi Rose device! Saw a 3 September update for the app, so I deleted the iOS app and it’s data, went to the AppStore and did a fresh install. Just like before, the device couldn’t be found on my network. And yet again, after entering the IP address the device is found briefly, but the IP address is not retained, and the device is lost. It’s good that the device can be easily managed from the it’s own touch screen, otherwise if it was only iOS app operated, you would have a brick on your hand.
