RollerCoaster Tycoon NETFLIX 12+

I remember sitting on my garbage computer playing this game for hours on end when I was much, much younger. I randomly found this Netflix version without all the play options and I have to tell you I’m hooked. Level 57 less than a month.
I’ll tell you, I wish we had Reddit back in the day because there are some hard-core players out there who are more than willing to share their knowledge with others. You can get strategies on how to layout your paths and rides down to the square, boost stats, and up the satisfaction for all of your attractions. I’ve already changed my park around four times and have managed to attain 99% peep satisfaction. (If you played the old game, you get it.)
My only disappointment is that you are unable to attach to the main game for the ability to view other players’ parks.

This is an all-around fun game in the fact that it’s included with my Netflix subscription makes this peep 100% happy.

I’m at level 43 and had been having fun trying to get my park up to 100% on each category: fun, food, hygiene (lol). You earn money through the rides and park admission, and through little tasks you get these cards that pile up, then as you get more and more cards you can get upgrades to the rides. It costs a lot of money to upgrade.
It’s not as fun anymore because I used to be able to earn money while offline, and suddenly that’s gone now, so I come back just as broke as I was when I left. The rides collect while I’m offline but they have a limit to what they can collect. So I can’t do much with my park anymore now that I’m earning very little money. It’s just not sustainable. I’ll give it a week or so to see if it’s fixed, and if not, I’ll delete it if I can’t earn enough money to keep up. At my level, everything is already very expensive, like 5 million for upgrading a store one time, and the next time it’ll be 10 million since it always doubles…or even triples sometimes. I can’t keep up with the costs of upgrades if I can’t make money from admissions.
Well, it was fun for a while.

Great concept but, you get cards so fast that for every option you choose, there are 3 more possibilities that pop up. There is no time to enjoy or see the results of what you just installed before you’re forced to install something else or make another choice. The pacing is just off.
Update: The pacing is a problem because the further you go, the more outrageous the new item costs are and upgrades. So the first few days of playing its fast and furious… then after that it slows down to just checking in to collect cash until you can buy anything. There’s no game play, no strategy. Just sit and wait. You can no longer complete challenges because you dont have enough money to more than a challenge a day or so.
Then there is the SLOW loading times. Every time you open the game it takes more than a minute to reupload and open the game. You can’t just open it up and play. And it’s not my internet. I dont have any problems with any other application.
Overall it’s a great idea, but just becomes so cumbersome that its not worth the time.
