Disappointing Connection Issues - Ricoh360 App Falls Short
I have not been able to use the Ricoh360 app with the Ricoh360 camera, thus my experience has been far from satisfactory. The app consistently fails to connect to the camera, making it impossible to capture 360-degree photos and videos. Despite following all the troubleshooting steps provided, including reinstalling the app, checking for firmware updates, and ensuring a stable Wi-Fi connection, the issue persists.
The interface is user-friendly, but what good is it if the primary function of connecting to the camera doesn't work? This major flaw renders the app useless. It's frustrating and disappointing that an app designed to work seamlessly with its own camera fails so spectacularly in this fundamental aspect.
Until Ricoh addresses these connectivity issues and provides a reliable solution, I cannot recommend the Ricoh360 app to anyone. It's a shame because the potential is there, but the execution is severely lacking.

Unnecessary Download.
How was it that you decided to discontinue an app with no further warning. I had to arrive to a job site to use the same Theta app that I have used for years to capture images with my Theta Z1 camera. Only open it up on site and be told that the app was discontinued on today’s date. I download the new app, now I have to register an account with you guys just to connect to the camera. This wasted 30 minutes of time for me as I had to reconnect the camera to my device. Thank God this didn’t happen in front of a client.
All your old photos? Gone.
There is no way for saving pics to the camera roll, or accessing old photos saved on your device. Years of old photos cannot be accessed by this app. It can only save photos directly from the camera to the app, meaning that they can only be accessed with the app. Photos in your photo library that are no longer saved on your camera? Those are basically lost.
