The New Revere 4.0: Rebuilt from the ground up, literally from the ground up, and representing a new chapter for the app. On the surface you’ll still find the familiar and minimal design but under the hood Revere has been modernized with Apple's latest technologies — literally completely rewritten.

It’s now smoother, more reliable, and most importantly, faster for me to deliver new features. Consider this my recommitment to the future of this project.

Hope you find it valuable and thank you for supporting!

Great App - missing an important feature

I am very glad you have produced this app and wish I had found it sooner - it fills a gap between the Genealogy/family tree apps and the CRM apps. However for me it is missing one feature that I would consider would make the subscription price worthwhile. I read a review from 2 years ago saying there was very little extra in the paid version - you agreed and said you would be making it worthwhile by constantly adding features - built I’m not seeing that in what the paid version advertises 2 years later.

The feature it lacks (needs) is a field allows one to identify how each of your contacts are connected (if they are). For example each of my son’s records would list me as father and my record would each of them as son but nothing would link them to each other. Same for connected families and friends. Being able to show connections between people other than to me would take this app to the next level - effectively making it a family tree for living people and a connection tree for all my contacts (that only I have access to for privacy reasons).

Add that feature and you will have my subscription. :-)

Hey Aussie, noted and agreed. The connections between people would be really useful. I'm definitely working towards building that. First there are some updates to the UI that need to happen to make visualizing that info a nice experience. Thanks for the feedback, it's particularly meaningful from someone as discerning as you (having done your research reading reviews 2 years back). Mark

Perfect in-between a CRM & Contacts app

I’ve been struggling for years with needing something between a full CRM (or even a light weight CRM), LinkedIn, and the Contacts app on my phone. I meet so many people and just needed a place to jot down where/how/when I met them and notes about our conversations so I could keep track of some details of the relationship. I’m not trying to sell them anything so I don’t need all the CRM features which made using a lightweight CRM for personal/professional reasons a really weird and gross experience. I also can’t remember all the details of who I connect with on LinkedIn and why, especially in short term networking situations. Revere hits the mark of what I need beautifully. Can’t wait for more Premium features, please don’t go in the CRM direction! Keep it fun and clean to use so it’s more B2C than B2B. Thank you!

Developer Response ,

Thank you! It’s great to hear revere it’s that sweet spot for you. And yes, the plan is to keep it B2C and keep building both Premium and Free features.

Great App... Not great price

This app deserves a lot more recognition than it is getting. It is definitely a diamond in the rough for the App Store. I am surprised more apps haven’t come out using a similar idea, especially with the amount of people we meet on a daily basis, and may have problems remembering stuff about, etc. The interface is clean, and it is easy to use.

However, when I rate it 5-stars, it is for the free version. When you pay the subscription, it is not worth it. If the price was cut in half it may seem a bit more reasonable. You are essentially paying $6 to make folders, and get birthday updates (which most people get from Facebook anyways). Especially in light of all the other subscriptions you can get out there, the price is to high for the actual value and features added.

Developer Response ,

Hi Micah, thanks for those compliments – it's really rewarding to hear. I agree that the current Premium subscription is light on features, with Groups being the primary one. The plan is to continue a steady drum beat of new features that make Premium more and more valuable, until it's so useful that subscribing is a no-brainer. Watch for updates and more new features coming soon.

All the best,
Mark
