Description

RENT APP

• Direct to your landlord: Rent App deposits money directly into your landlord's bank account. No more trips to the ATM, sending checks, or managing app balances.

• No fees, no weekly limits: Rent App is free for you and your landlord, and the total amount can be sent in a single transaction. You can schedule one-time or repeat payments.

• Build credit while renting: Rent App brings you closer to homeownership by optionally reporting on-time rent payments to the three major credit bureaus.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Connect Bank

Securely log in to the bank account you use to pay rent (we support thousands). You only need to do this once, the connection is encrypted end-to-end, and we never store your credentials.

2. Send Payment

Enter your rent amount and the landlord’s phone number or email. You can add their routing and account details if you have them. Choose a payment date and tap Pay Rent.

3. That’s It

Your landlord will receive a text or email notifying them you paid rent. Once they confirm their bank, the money is on the way. There are no apps to download or accounts to create.

Love the split play

I started using the app for its split pay feature and it’s been so helpful not having to pay such large amounts every top of the month. I get paid every two weeks, and with the split pay feature its really convenient to make two rent payments instead of one. My landlord does not mind it because he just gets the money in full and on time and I can breathe a little bit so its a win win. Also since I started using rent app my credit score has seen a nice bump so thats good to have too. I have a roommate and I wish they had some tools around that because they have to pay me the rent now but it would be easier if we can just split it. But otherwise I like it

Super helpful app

So I heard about this from a friend and decided to give it a try. Times were tough so the split pay feature was pretty appealing. I was concerned at first on whether my landlord would accept it, but i figured out they already have tenants using it and they accept it. It’s been really helpful not having to pay such big sums at once. Having the rent split into two eliminates so much unnecessary stress for me. I do think the fee is a bit expensive for the service but honestly it’s worth it. I recommend it to anyone needing to balance their finances better.

less skeptical, was helpful

I started using this app for its split pay feature, it’s been super helpful being able to split rent into two smaller amounts instead of one bit payment which works good for my biweekly paycheck. My landlord doesn’t mind since he gets the money in full on time and I Hague some room to breathe so it’s a win win. Also since I started using rent app my credit score had a nice increase so that’s helpful.
