Remind Me Faster gets tasks into Apple Reminders the moment they cross your mind.
It makes your most-used times, locations, and lists available with a couple of taps so nothing slows your flow. It’s available wherever you need it with support for lock screen, control center, and share sheet access. It's quick-entry for Apple Reminders.
Remind Me Faster is a companion to the Reminders app that's already on your device, so there's no need to switch task managers. Added reminders can be viewed in the built-in Reminders app.
• Set time alerts using natural language ("Reply to Mike tomorrow 10am")
• Set time alerts with one-tap pre-defined times & durations
• Set location alerts with 2 taps
• Select any list, and swipe left/right to quick-switch
• Set priority: • ! !! !!!
• Lock Screen launcher widget
• Share sheet extension
• Control Center & Action Button support
• Shortcuts & URL scheme support
• Alternate app icon sets
Remind Me Faster is indie-made, ad-free, with zero tracking. Most functionality is available for free, with some extra features available as one-off purchases.
What’s New
Version 5.2.6
• Fixed a bug that could cause a crash if ‘last used’ list option is selected and the Reminders list is deleted between app launches.
• Fixed a bug where the ‘last used’ list might incorrectly save to default list.
Ratings and Reviews
Incredible app
I just want to preface this review by saying that I almost never give reviews, but this app is just so good I have to support it. I am a very forgetful but very “fast paced” person, so having an app that allows me to set reminders in mere seconds is an absolute lifesaver, and saved me a lot of money so I didn’t have to buy a virtual assistant or something. The only sort of feature I can really suggest is a home screen widget with minimal controls/ options so quick, preset time reminders can be jotted down even faster. But honestly that’s not even necessary because the app is already extremely fast and easy to use. On top of the fact thag it’s just very aesthetically pleasing and minimalist. Thank you developer for this fantastic app, I would say your “labor of love” has paid off. Hope this app blows up someday as it should.
Literally life-changing
As someone who struggles with ADD/ADHD, things often slip from my mind almost as soon as they appear. ANY friction between thinking of something and having it on my to-do list makes it less likely that that thing or idea will get remembered and addressed, and Remind Me Faster is the best tool I've found for elminating friction between my brain and my to do list. This app has made a significant difference in my life.
Remind Me Faster looks great, is super fast and lightweight, and it seems to be rock-solid and reliable, even using it on an M1 Mac. I super appreciate the small but high-value in app purchases, especially the different icons. The developer has been kind and responsive. I cannot recommend this app enough for anyone who uses a to-do system based on Reminders.
Awesome
I’ve had huge unfixable bugs with Reminders since a system upgrade 5 years ago. The keyboard freezes, there is like a 1 minute lag before a list opens, etc. I can’t find a suitable replacement yet after downloading a dozen reminder apps. I downloaded this a couple of years ago and originally gave it 4 stars because it didn’t have ability to set repeat reminders or be specific about a day and time. They have made upgrades in all these areas and now the app is perfect! It allows me to bypass my buggy app. I have ADD and sometimes just waiting for that app to open correctly I’d forget what I was setting the reminder for, lol. I live and die by my reminders app and this app solved a problem that bedeviled me for a couple of years.
Developer Response ,
Hi there! Thanks so much for the feedback.
It is actually possible set a reminder in advance, like you’ve described. There are multiple ways:
1. When you set a time you can keep pressing +24h to increment the days, into the future.
2. You can tap the three dots button to bring up a full calendar view, allowing you to pick whichever date or time you like.
3. You can use the natural language feature to type the date, like “xyz next Wednesday” - although this option is an in-app purchase.
Thanks for the feedback in repeating reminders too! I’m working on this for the next release, so keep an eye out for that :).
I hope this helps.
