Redge Fit 4+

I’ve had the Redge fit now for about a week. I’ve gotten through two workouts no problems tech wise. All the sudden say three rolls around and the videos in the app do not play. You just get the loading circle constantly. I’ve had to delete the app multiple times, redownload it and i now only get audio to the workouts. Now it wouldn’t be a big deal if I knew how to manipulate the Redge fit bar properly for the workouts, all the video is really doing is guiding me to do that. It’s quite a shame that the app has these problems. But I will say that when it does work, the work outs, nutrition guide and other features are nice.

Our technical team has solved this problem. Please update your app to the latest version. If you have other problems, please contact us at support@redgefit.com and provide us with a series of screenshots or videos of the steps that you take or how the issue appears on your end. This way, we can get a better grasp of what you’re experiencing.

Two stars based on deceptive advertising. I’ve purchased several band products to review and while the Redge Fit is a nice set-up; it is more expensive than comparable systems. Advertising is also deceitful as videos say you can do up 360 lbs. which would be true if you purchase an additional set of four bands in addition to the 240 lb equivalent with eight bands and bar package. While the initial more expensive sets offer the Redge App workout app (exercises, progress tracking, meal planning) for free, it’s unclear whether you have to pay for it…most do offer the app “for free” which means of course you can download it… every app does that. It appeared to me that app program would be offered at a “half price discount” for the first year, but then beyond year one, you would pay full price for the app, which is close to what an annual BODI membership is.

Recommend the bands, but skip the app…if you’re stuck creating workouts, there are plenty on them on the interwebs.

I ordered the Redge Fit a few days ago and am excited to use it and then I found this app. I haven’t tried, but I have to pay for it. Automatic zero star rating for bribing me to rate 5 stars to unlock the introduction video without paying. Hopefully there is a booklet that shows how to set up and do exercises on it when it arrives. I don’t need a meal planner or daily tracker just how to set up and the different exercises I’m able to do.

Update: how hard is it to have a paper manual on proper technique and types of exercises possible. I get it about the app, but your equipment should come with how to set up and at least a few exercises possible. It’s a hassle to look through Instagram. Using Instagram is not a sufficient response for me. It makes planing routines a chore . I do like the equipment, but I hate that there is 0 instructions.
