Raivo Authenticator 4+

Recently, I upgraded to a new phone and faced the daunting task of transferring data. To my dismay, I discovered all my authentication keys from the old device were lost in the process. However, the Raivo App provided a silver lining with its iCloud backup option, and the ability to create a hard copy backup. This feature was a lifesaver, making the transition smooth and efficient, taking less than a minute to complete. In contrast, I encountered significant difficulties with my Microsoft Authenticator during the switch. I am immensely grateful for the Raivo App's seamless process. Thank you!

I’ve been using this app thinking it was open source & trustworthy. Then today I updated the app only to learn immediately after that ALL my 2FA codes had been deleted. There is no option to sign in with my same master password. I can only create a new account. And I’m reading, too late, on Reddit that the original app creator sold the app to a private company others are reporting are demanding payment FIRST to regain access to codes to export elsewhere. But I can’t even get in contact with the company via its Github page (401 Error) or via the support button here on App Store. So all my accounts are dead.

Very disappointed Apple has allowed this to happen with an app on its App Store. Learned my lesson. 2FA codes ONLY via hardware keys I own—never via an app that can be sold to a company that utterly disregards the interests of existing account holders.

I’ve tried different authentication tools over the years and this one just works well and it pleasing to the eye too.. I haven’t had any issues with it in the 6-10 months I’ve been using it! Keep up the good work!
