Description

RacePitTech was originally designed to be and end-to-end solution for off-road race teams to handle all day-to-day operations all year long and to help provide as much information as possible during races allowing you to race smarter. The product has since evolved to provide solutions to fabrication and prep shops, parts manufactured and is adding support for more and more types of racing.

Race Management
Manage all of the races your team is racing each season in once place so the entire team can know what to be ready for. Build out each race or import them with their laps, stages, special events (joker laps or special sections you only have to do once) and all of the race participants. Track the entire race field, or just your class, its all up to you.

Race Logistics (Race Mode)
Each vehicle you have entered in the race will have a detailed section with their current place in their class and overall, both physically and on corrected time. It also has important details such as average speed and their time splits to the next closest vehicle, to first place in their class and to first place overall allowing you to figure out how hard to push. It can also be used to track how long pits take, how much fuel the vehicle took and then can track the average miles per gallon the vehicle is using. It also allows you to track vehicles current location, if they have done special lap events, if they start, DNF, DNS, finished or passed a specific mile marker. All of these details together allow you to see how your competition is doing, how your team is doing and how you should adjust your race strategy.

Vehicle Management
Manage all of your team’s vehicles in one place including race cars, pre-runners, chase vehicles and trailers. Adding your vehicles allows them to be added to races, tied to projects and tasks, set their current location and used as a location for storage items. Add special details about each vehicle members of the team need to know to help reduce back and forth questions.

Vehicle Setup & Components
A key feature is the ability to create multiple setups for all of your vehicles. Store details about every single part on your vehicles, special notes about how to install or remove them, detailed statistics such as tire pressure, rebound and compression settings for shocks, max torque for bolts or any other details you would like. All of these details can be duplicated and changed for different races or different terrain so your entire team can know the details of the part for that specific race. Instead of a pit waiting until they can contact the race car and ask what the specific details for a part are or dig through a bunch of paperwork you can have it all in one place and look it up with RacePitTech. Each part is also linked to the inventory for the whole team allowing you to see where the spares for this specific item are, how many you have and if parts work between vehicles.

Storage Management
Storage management is another very key feature of RacePitTech. When you get the call the race vehicle has broken a rear axel shaft and you need to know who has a spare, and where exact it is before the vehicle shows up, it can be very stressful. The days of creating inventory sheets before the race which are out of date by the time you print them are over. Use RacePitTech to track what is in each of your pit boxes, shop shelves, tool boxes and tool bags. When items are transferred between support vehicles or put onto the race car, track them in real time and let the rest of the team know. Find out what’s in each of the pit boxes you have in your vehicle quickly and easily.

What’s New

Version 1.41

We took what we learned at the 2023 King of the Hammers as well as customer feedback to resolve some issues when the app is working completely offline in race mode and the app gets closed and reopened. Details: Starting gird formatting has been updated to work better on iOS. Added a new textbox at the bottom of the starting grid for racers that are not in your list (late entries). The Pit Out button was not working on some devices so the buttons have been split into two to prevent this issue. Starting split times were being duplicated after restarting the app when there are still pending items to upload. Pit stops were not being loaded when reopening the app when offline. Last known locations of race vehicles were being reset locally, but duplicated on the server when reconnecting after being offline and restarting the app. Some other performance updates and other bugs were resolved as part of this sweep.
