Briefs + exam prep materials = worth it. Lectures are average but do have nice visual components.

It’s a must have for law school. Best comprehensive and most in-depth case briefs of any supplemental law school site. Great for review or checking your ability to pull relevant facts, issue, rule, analysis, etc. And also great for those times when you just can’t bring yourself to open the casebook.

The multiple choice and short answer essay prompts are great for review and exam prep. Independent practice of applying the doctrines learned in class are scarce to non-existent. I also find the flash card feature and outlines helpful, but these aren’t too dissimilar from any commercial outline you can probably get for free at your law school (Barbari, etc.).

The content of the lectures could be more comprehensive. It’d be nice if they provided an index of frequently cited cases for the topic of discussion. This would allow students to read fact patterns in which the issue/topic of discussion arose. The lectures seem to be an “outline” read aloud. They do have solid illustrations, though, which I find helpful as a visual learner.

Fantastic Resource for Law Students!

Quimbee provides well-informed case briefs along with very detailed outlines that have been incredibly helpful for my law school studies. The summaries are concise but thorough, making complex legal concepts much easier to understand. I especially appreciate the video lessons—they break down complicated topics in a way that’s easy to follow, even when time is tight.

The app mirrors the web version seamlessly, offering the same features with no limitations. Whether I need to review case law, take quizzes, or continue where I left off in an outline, everything works smoothly on my phone or tablet. The offline mode is a great bonus, allowing me to study on the go without worrying about internet access.

Quimbee’s interface is user-friendly, and I love how easy it is to track my progress. It’s a perfect tool for students looking to stay organized and prepared throughout the semester. Highly recommend!

The videos speak way too fast…

Quimbee is an excellent app. It provides a lot of useful information in the instructional videos and in the case brief videos. However, my biggest complaint is that the videos speak way too fast most of the time.

For the past 2 years, the 0.5x speed button never did anything on my account. So I wrote to Quimbee and they fixed it. So I started listening to videos at 0.5x speed but that speed way painfully slow. What I really need is 0.75x speed so that the video is slowed down enough for me to hear it at a reasonable speed but not too slow. The app allows such smaller incremental speed increases of 1.25x speed if you want to zoom through the video but it doesn’t offer a 0.75x speed if you want to listen slower like I do. I wish they would fix this issue.

My second complaint is that while Quimbee has courses on many different subjects, it doesn’t have any learning courses on some popular or specialized subjects like Florida Constitutional Law for example.
