A minimalists dream
tl;dr An incredibly creative and well crafted browser with tons of potential from a developer who cares
I want to start by saying, I can’t believe this app doesn’t have more attention. I was reading an article that popped up talking about this app. It sounded unique and immediately piqued my interest when it mentioned “customizable browser”. I honestly have been looking for something like this for years and I’ve tried everything but nothing could convince me to stay. I ended up sticking with Safari purely because of continuity, a slightly feeling of minimalism, and functionality. However, Quiche is truly unique with its simplicity. Just the mere fact that you could move the back button to the other side of the address bar sold me. Along with that, there’s tons of other options and ways to make it your own.
The cherry on top for me was the care from the developer. I had a couple questions regarding some functionality in the app and was able to contact him directly through his instagram. He took the time to answer my questions along with taking any feedback and requests. Sure, the browser is missing some things but I’m not worried in the slightest that it will stay that way. Keep up the good work

Honestly phenomenal!
I’ve been in search of a good browser for iOS for quite some time. I find myself switching back and forth endlessly between Brave, Safari, DuckDuckGo and a few other newcomers that just never fit the bill. I unexpectedly stumbled upon Quiche this morning while performing a completely unrelated search in the app store and I’m so happy that I did. It’s minimal, yet super customizable. The built-in ad block has so far been excellent. I’m a proponent of minimalism and functionality and this browser delivers on both fronts. I played around with the menus and browsed a few of my favorite sites to check out the stability and speed and I was not disappointed. I quickly made this my new default and sent the developer a tip!
If I had one suggestion, it would be that open tabs could be swiped away rather than having to hit the ‘x’. This is a minor gripe, but muscle memory from using both Safari and Brave has me constantly performing this gesture and I wish it worked on Quiche. Hopefully this can be implemented in a future update! Keep up the great work!

Really loving Quiche on iOS. First there’s the obvious - customization. It’s super fast and does feel lightweight. I love that links that are the same are grouped together - and I’m a big fan of easily snapping back to the homepage for favorites. There are some great sites already programmed in. I’ve also been using through Test Flight on my iPad and Greg (developer) has really done a great job on both platforms. Have not been experiencing crashes or issues at all. I have traditionally been a power browser user and try them all. I’m excited to see Quiche grow and would love to see some features like native highlights and annotations to integrate with other Read it Later apps. Not a huge deal though. I don’t find myself using a “Spaces” feature on mobile as much, so again, I like that like-links are already auto-grouped and not jumbled all over a bunch of open tabs. You can change that view too if you wish. I could keep going but explore for yourself! Happy to support with the Plus version for further customization as well.
